Dates

  • Event: September 25, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
  • After hacking ends, judging runs for 1.5–2 hours. Students present in teams: 5 minutes of presenting, followed by 2–3 minutes of Q&A.
  • Build during the hackathon. Start your project after the hackathon begins.
  • One project per team. Choose one track and stick to it.
  • Meet the deadline. Late submissions may not be judged. Submit your project on Devpost before the stated deadline.

Eligibility

  • Open exclusively to students of Asian University for Women (AUW). Only students from AUW are eligible to participate.
  • Only those who have signed up can submit a project; one project per team.
  • Teams: work in teams. Every member should contribute and be able to explain the project.
  • No plagiarism. Don't copy another team's or another person's project.
  • Judges' decisions are final.

  3. AI tools are allowed (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for ideation only, so you don't burn extra credits — but you must use GenSpark AI as the main platform for building your solution and creating your presentation:
    • You must understand the code you submit. Judges may ask you to explain any part of it.
    • Mention which AI tools you used and for what.
    • AI can help you build, but the idea, decisions, and teamwork must be yours.
  4. Build during the hackathon. Start your project after the hackathon begins. You may use open-source libraries, templates, and public APIs.
  5. You may use any language, framework, or tool (HTML/CSS/JS, React, Python/Flask, Node.js, Firebase, etc.).
  6. No plagiarism. Don't copy another team's or another person's project.
  7. Meet the deadline. Late submissions may not be judged.

Judges review submissions after the event. Late or incomplete submissions may not be judged. Judges' decisions are final.

Code of Conduct

  • Be respectful. Treat every participant, mentor, judge, and volunteer with kindness.
  • No harassment or discrimination. This includes insults, offensive jokes, or exclusion based on gender, religion, background, ability, or anything else.
  • Collaborate, don't sabotage. Healthy competition is welcome. Interfering with another team's work is not.
  • Be honest. Present only your own work and be truthful about what your app can and cannot do.
  • Respect privacy and ethics. Build technology that protects users. Do not create anything that could harm, track, or expose anyone.
  • Give everyone a voice. In your team, share tasks fairly and listen to each other's ideas.
  • Follow the organizers' instructions and venue or platform rules.
  • Report issues. If you face or see any problem, tell an organizer immediately. All reports will be handled seriously and confidentially.

 

Anyone who breaks the code of conduct may be warned, disqualified, or asked to leave the event.
